At Agrícola Navarro de Haro we are always aware of the harvesting times so that all the products arrive with their optimum ripening process to provide you with all the vitamins and benefits. Our star winter products are courgette, iceberg lettuce and cauliflower. A selection of varied products to inaugurate the season.

Courgettes are a low-calorie food because they are mostly made up of water. Courgette is a very demanding crop in terms of watering and needs 6-8 hours of sunlight. It helps to reduce cholesterol, blood pressure and prevents cancer, which makes it an ideal choice as a garnish for meals.

Cauliflower is another of the star vegetables of the autumn season. From October to April we can enjoy this vegetable, which is very low in calories and at the same time very high in fibre, calcium, potassium and vitamin C. Cauliflower is more demanding in terms of soil and cold sensitivity. It is a perfect vegetable to grow in the Region of Murcia because of the climatic conditions and other particularities.

Last but not least, the growing and harvesting season for iceberg lettuce is starting. It is a vegetable that adapts well to all types of soil and is a must for adding a touch of freshness to every meal.
